Flexible spending accounts are available on an annual basis which allows employees to set aside pre-taxed dollars for out of pocket medical, dental, child and elder care expenses not covered by insurance.
Employees can choose between HMO and PPO plans. Coverage includes chiropractic care.
Vision Service Plan (VSP) has an extensive nationwide network of doctors who provide quality eye care and materials. This plan provides regular eye examinations and benefits towards vision care expenses including glasses or contact lenses.
Employees can choose between DHMO and DPPO plans.
filtec pays for employee life insurance, which is equivalent to 1x the employee’s annual salary. AD&D is also 1x the annual salary. Supplemental life insurance is also available.

Employees earn 2 weeks of vacation per year during their first four years of full time employment, with a maximum accrual of 20 days. From the fifth year on, employees earn 3 weeks of vacation, with a maximum accrual of 30 days.
Employees accrue 1.85 hours of sick time for each bi-weekly period worked. Maximum accrual is 192 hours.
filtec observes 10 paid holidays including New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Education reimbursement is available for job related courses when a grade of “C” or better is achieved.
