FULL CONTAINER INSPECTION
All the Advantages for Glass, Plastic and Metal Bottles or Cans
filtec offers super reliable high speed full bottle and can inspection. Machines have a small footprint which allows installation on existing lines with no line modifications, and feature remote access via several protocols. Modular designs can be upgraded at any time, and machines are hygienic – with no belts to grow interior mold and bacteria. Cost of ownership is low due to minimal wear parts.
Fill Level Inspection: All at the Right Height
filtec offers an array of full container inspection equipment to identify underfilled or overfilled containers. Fill levels are detected by sensors employing various technologies. Containers not meeting set parameters for the various inspections and options are rejected.
- The FT-50 inspects for underfill or overfill at speeds up to 144,000 cans per hour or 72,000 bottles per hour. Its sealed Gamma Ray source has a 40 year guaranteed working life – making it a cost effective solution.
- The FT-70 and FT-75 provide the same fast, quality full container inspection using X-rays. Click Here for comparison of X-ray and Gamma ray technology.
- The FT-65 IR provides fill level inspection for bottles.
- The FT-47 radio frequency system utilizes a high frequency field to detect underfill and overfill of glass and plastic containers at speeds up to 72,000 cans per hour.
- The Vent Tube Detector detects the presence of a loose broken vent tube that has dropped into a bottle during the filling process.

Closure Inspection: Keeping the Deal Sealed
The SpectroVision, FT-50 Gamma, FT-65 IR, and FT-70 and FT-75 X-ray systems provide high, cocked, or missing cap inspection (metal, plastic or cork closures), bulged can detection, and can also check for foil under caps.
Optional diameter check scans for standard and irregular shape caps such as push-pull, sport-tops, and aerosol buttons for missing cap and conformity with standards. Multiple rejection and sorting options are available.

Technology Choice: X-ray or Gamma Ray
filtec full container inspection systems can be specified with either X-ray generators or Gamma sources. X-rays and Gamma rays are identical – but come from different sources. Gamma rays are generated by the natural degeneration of a radioisotope, while X-rays are generated by an X-ray tube containing a cathode that emits electrons, which are accelerated by a high voltage electric charge.

Command and Control
The FMS features a 15”color touch screen monitor in a stainless steel housing. Controls are intuitive and password protected.
