User Interface & Connectivity

The FMS is equipped with a 15 inch portable color touch screen monitor in a stainless steel housing. Controls are intuitive and password protected with user defined security levels. The parameter change log continuously monitors and records; changes in settings, system alarms and other system events. Recordings include time and date of all changes, the person implementing the change.

Connectivity features support connection of the FMS to the plant Ethernet networks via Weihenstephan, OMAC and MODBUS TCP protocols. Modbus serial interfaces are also supported.

The connectivity feature allows the operator to remotely view relevant data and statistics concerning machine status, throughput, line efficiency and rejects by category. The remote access feature allows remote users to access control functions, view all screens, images and diagnostic messages via the internet or LAN.
