Fill Level Monitoring

Reduce Rejects due to Under fills. The FMS is capable of detecting under filled bottles with an accuracy of ±1.5 mm at speeds up to 72,000 containers per hour. Under fills can be rejected on either fixed or variable speed conveyors and with stop/start (zero-speed) capability.

Minimize Product Giveaway. The FMS is capable of detecting overfilled bottles with an accuracy of ±1.5 mm at speeds up to 72,000 containers per hour. The FMS monitors the average fill level and the variance in fills for each valve. This information can be used to reduce product giveaway resulting from overfills and identify erratic valves.

Operator Early Notification. The FMS immediately alerts the operator when a low filling or high filling valve is detected before the variance is outside of the acceptable under fill or overfill range. The valve number and the quantity of low fills or high fills produced are displayed on the color monitor allowing plant personnel to repair the low filling or high filling valves before they create product that must be discarded or produce overfills beyond the acceptable range.
