Field Service Technician
Under general supervision from company guidelines, policies and practices, provides technical support in field to aid customers and resolve technical problems incurred in the installation or operation of company products. Activities are generally conducted with a high degree of independence and are virtually self-supervising. Consults with customer regarding pre- and post-installation problems. Conducts and coordinates start-up, cut-over and check-out activities on newly installed systems. May review customer equipment interface requirements. Works closely with design engineering in evaluating product performance and conducting field trials. Provides support in the conduct and performance of equipment/system acceptance testing following installation. May conduct technical seminars and training for customer or company personnel, as well as informal on-the-job training for other field service staff members and customers. May provide work leadership to lower level field service staff.
- Requires extensive travel time (70%) to customer locations. Must be able to lift heavy weights, hand tools and basic electronics, good customer service skills.
- Must have five or more years of related job experience, beverage industry preferred and excellent communication skills.
College: 2-year degree a must, 4-year degree desired

About the Job
- Will solicit new customers by arranged visits and making cold calls to penetrate the beer, soft drinks, water, food, pharmaceutical and general packaging markets.
- Responsible for developing major product placement programs through aggressive corporate selling and maintaining a strong customer presence.
- Must be able to evaluate a customer’s complete product needs and match all of the filtec products available to each of the customer’s factory requirements.
- Will be required to develop and present technical product presentations as well as demonstrate filtec equipment, to plant managers, technical managers, quality control managers and others within designated customer organizations.
- Detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, proactive and reliable.
- Team player willing to adapt as needs require and as the organization grow.
- Excellent problem solving skills.

- process visa and passport applications, inventory visa forms, interface with consulate visa service company.
- organize all travel items (airfare, hotel, lodging, etc) for all traveling employees.
- provide night and/or weekend emergency travel calls.

Buyer
Responsibilities include:
- Purchase of production materials, R&D engineering materials requisition and MRO at competitive prices that meet schedule, safety, and quality standards.
- Follow up on order deliveries as required.
- Source new parts/alternates for obsolete or hard-to-find parts.
- Work with R&D engineering to source suppliers for materials involving new product development.
- Interface with Sales and Customer Service for scheduling the delivery of parts and replacement orders, and customer repair orders.
- Facilitate the repair service process for customer units.
- Schedule and issue work orders for repairs of customer units.
Requirements:
- Complete understanding, knowledge, and experience in all phases of purchasing, and some planning experience preferred.
- Proficient in various computer software applications to prepare reports and documents.
- Vast knowledge and experience in manufacturing ERP systems (BAAN IV experience preferred).
- Knowledge and understanding of the processes involved in engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and production control.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive purchasing experience in an OEM environment.
BA/BS or equivalent work experience required.

Product Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Oversees all product line activities and supports new product transition from R&D to manufacturing; also reviews quality assurance/test requirements. This includes verification of new software prior to production release.
- Provides technical support to manufacturing with product issues throughout the manufacturing process, including testing and verification of final product.
- Gathers and analyzes design input information to determine possible application and design adequacy. (EVR process)
- Provides support to Product Sales & Marketing Engineer (PSME), Sales & Marketing, and Field Service representatives for complex technical issues to produce expedient resolutions for customers.
- Reviews and approves all revisions to production drawings (EO process), as well as oversee and approve the release of new production drawings and PMA’s (Product Manager Approval Forms).
- Maintains product line document forms for EDS.
Requires physical mobility and stamina normally associated with a sustaining engineering project and’/ or product program management. Occasionally requires extended work hours and periods of prolonged mental and visual concentration for reading, data analysis, performance testing and preparation of reports. Requires travel to customer locations (domestic and international)
Qualifications:

Electro-Mechanical Fabricator
Under general supervision, works from a variety of production blueprints, assembly layouts, wiring diagrams, parts lists, wire lists, sketches and broad verbal instructions to perform complex, varied mechanical and Electro-mechanical assembly and fabrication operations. Utilizes a wide variety of hand and power tools to assemble and fabricate assemblies. Performs a variety of functional checkouts, often requiring the analysis and correction of malfunctions. May provide input to engineering/quality control regarding malfunction causes. Performs critical production calibrations and alignments of a mechanical nature to assure proper functional system operation. May verify final system completeness and operation to release for final inspection and shipping. May provide work leadership to others through assignment of work, review of progress, monitoring of results and instructions.
Experience and Training: Ability to read, write, and perform shop mathematics and measurements. Knowledge of Electro-mechanical systems. Requires 3 years of mechanical/Electro-mechanical assembly experience.
Electronics Assembler
Under limited supervision, performs electronic or Electro-mechanical production subassembly operations to build up and assemble units of moderate complexity such as, printed circuit board, module, chassis drawers, cable harnesses and other electronic assemblies. Works from production/assembly instructions, parts list, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions and notes to assemble, wire and install a wide variety of components. Identifies and selects components to be integrated into subassembly and assembly units. Utilizes a variety of small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
Experience and Training: Must be able to read, write, and perform minor assembly calculations.
Requirements: 2-3 years related assembly experience. Knowledge of soldering techniques, color codes, component identification and understanding of production prints.
Production Supervisor
Responsible for direction of non-exempt employees in production, assembly, subassembly or fabrication operations. Reviews production schedules, material, and manpower resources. Assigns employees to maximize production objectives, maintain quality and attain output requirements. Informs assigned employees of production and material problems and coordinates with support groups to resolve problems affecting schedules. Participates in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment, and procedures. Responsible to enter all data entry for inventory and work order transactions. Maintains a variety of reports, records and production documentation to reflect schedules, performance, methods, and the like. Responsible for the employment, training, employee motivation, counseling and discipline of employees supervised. May direct subordinates through lead employees.
This position requires understanding and use of ERP systems, as well as material planning experience. Some material planning will be required in this position. Must be capable and willing to perform assembly work as required. Must be willing to work extended hours and Saturdays as required. Must have minimum two years of prior supervisory experience.
