Base Inspection

A high-speed camera captures high-contrast images of the base and heel of each container using specialized LED lighting and optics.

Inspection algorithms filter out normal features of containers such as bottle design features and embossing and then identify contamination or damage on the inside and outside of the container.

The rotating diffuser glass, constantly cleaned by air blow-off and rotating brush, eliminates dirt and soap, greatly reducing false rejects.
