Finish Inspection

Damage to the sealing surface or finish of a container can jeopardize the quality of the product by preventing a good seal and can present a safety hazard to customers.

The Omnivision II uses sophisticated optics, LED strobe lighting and field-proven image processing algorithms to analyze the entire sealing surface and adjacent areas and reliably differentiate between critical faults (chips, cracks, etc.) and signs of normal wear in finishes up to 70 mm in diameter.

The “Dual” lighting system allows for the reliable inspection of different types of container finishes - e.g. crown and thread, within one inspection station.
