Inner Sidewall Inspection

The Omnivision II inspects the inner sidewall of containers by looking through the necks. This allows it to detect contamination on the inside of the container behind ACL labels and heavy scuffing.

A separate camera uses optics specially designed to capture images of the inside walls of each container. At the same time that it is performing inner sidewall inspection it performs a secondary base inspection. See Image Processing

Special object detection provides the ability to detect syringes and other large objects allowing these types of rejects to be segregated from other rejects using a downstream sorting system. See downstream sorting
