Beltless for Superior Performance

The Pressure/Leak Detector has a virtually maintenance-free design.  It utilizes a beltless system so there are no belts to wear out.  Instead of belts that require frequent adjustment, each bottle is firmly supported by precision guide rails during inspection. There’s also no squeezing of the bottles during the detection process which prevents the possibility of product spillage and contamination.

A Single-Moving Part

It’s true. The PLD has one single-moving part that increases reliability, reduces maintenance and lowers the cost of ownership. Each bottle is inspected by an intelligent sensor utilizing a proprietary algorithm – enabling the Pressure/Leak Detector to give an immediate and reliable read. When the pressure is unacceptable, a defect is indicated, and the bottle is rejected from the line.

Change-over in 60 Seconds or Less

The Pressure/Leak Detector features a quick disconnect feature that allows for fast change-over in less than a minute, saving money and expensive downtime. Durable PVC change parts are color-coded and precision-pinned to provide for fast and accurate alignment for different bottle diameters. The PLD also connects to any existing filtec Fill Level Inspection system using the same rejector.

New Single Platform Technology (SPT) Interface

The SPT color touch screen display is standard equipment with the Pressure/Leak Detector and is also compatible with most filtec machines. It features a simple intuitive menu structure with large, easy to read navigation buttons and a virtual on-screen keyboard that is easy to use.
